Summit on Climate Change in Paris

PARIS: In the context of 140 heads of the states meeting in Paris against the climate change, hundreds of thousand people across the globe have protested against global warming.

Thousands of protesters gathered in before Batclan music hall where an emergency situation has been imposed which prevents people from protesting here. The protesters had gathered to pay tribute to the innocent people who died here.

Protesters placed shoes on the behalf of those people in Paris who could not physically participate in the protest, which includes the shoes of Pope Francis and Ban Ki-moon, the Secretary-General of the United Nations.

The protesters had also to encounter the Paris police during the protest that fired tear gas on the protesters to disperse them.
