Pakistan having the fifth largest army and posses third biggest nuclear stock pile in the world. Why? Where are they using it?, to occupy Kashmiries, or to create Khalistan or to be honest; occupy Afghanistan to increase its strategic depth. There is something fishy.
Mr. Massoud is not the first one to consider national resistance. The first one was; Ghani Khan, when Brits refused to give us open option and restricted the referendum to two options. The Khudai-Khidmatgar (KK) boycotted the referendum, Ghani Khan opted for national resistance.
Massoud calls for national resistance against Pakistan’s interference
I tweeted President Ghani; appreciating his warm approach to Pakistan but at the same time told him that Pakistan is not a dependable friend. To the rulers of Pakistan; Afghanistan is the enemy No.1, India comes second. The reasons are obvious. The same views, I expressed to Ex. President Karza; when I met him at a lunch, under the leadership of Late Ajmal Khattak.
The recent sequence of events like; using the US arms against TTP and India; letting Haqqani Network and Afghan Terrorist scot free, to hit Afghanistan and Khyber-Pashtunkhwa (KPK), inviting Taliban delegation to discuss border issues and refugees problem, steep increase in target killing in KPK and suicidal bombing in Afghanistan; all pointing out to one thing, that if diplomatic efforts fail and I sincerely hope not; then the only way out; is national resistance. According to the daily Dawn, there is an increase in the number of seminaries and admission to the seminaries in Punjab which is a matter of concern for all peace loving people.
The congress foreign committee stance has endorsed our fears and worries. It looks that Pakistan is still dreaming of strategic depth and Khalistan. The congress lawmakers must talk to Pakistani establishment plainly but bluntly, to express their plans, how come; the terror is supported with their arms?
It is the duty of Pashtun leadership; who played a key role to bring Kabul and Pindi near each other to raise the voice in both houses, instead of talking to individuals, as they are not dependable and trustworthy. In my humble capacity, I have written to Mr. Raza Rabbani, the chairman of the highest house of lawmakers.
We sincerely and honestly hope that Pakistan will abandon the policy of supporting hate and terror. Afghans should not be pushed against the wall.
Use of army last option if cross-border incursions continue: Gen. Shaheem
Afghanistan has never interfered in the internal affairs of Pakistan. In two wars with India, Pakistan was assured by Afghan government and the people of FATA; not to worry about Eastern border. It was really a sisterly gesture of Afghan government and the brave tribesmen. How the IDPs are treated today by Pakistan is worth-seeing?
On the other hand; how Pakistan availed the first opportunity to interfere in Afghanistan, on the behest of the USA and the UK, when there was change of government. It was strictly an internal affair of Afghanistan, internationalised by Gen Zia; the activities of CIA and ISI, prompted USSR to invade Afghanistan.
The logic of terror is lying in Pakistan. At any given time, Afghanistan had never more than 60,000 personnel in uniform. Afghanistan has proved to be a responsible state and never interfered in any other country, while there was a time that Pakistan had neither President nor COAS.
It is Pakistan having the 5th largest army and posses third biggest nuclear stock pile in the world. Why? Where are they using it?, to occupy Kashmiries, or to create Khalistan or to be honest; occupy Afghanistan to increase its strategic depth. There is something fishy. I was forcefully conscripted to Pakistan army in 1971, it was a God given opportunity; to study its structure and aims critically.
I honestly believe in, what I heard from Bacha Khan that the aim of his movement had two major goals. One to get rid of social evils, educate Pashtun and create national awareness. He further added; to engage the Brits here, not to advance towards Kabul.
We Pashtun( Afghans) on both sides of the line, should rise up to the occasion, to offer a tough national resistance to any one; determined to extinct our race. It is the time to do or die.
