3 killed, 18 injured in Kabul blast

Kabul attakKABUL: At least three people including two policemen were killed and 18 people were injured Thursday evening in Kabul city after a bomb attached to a police vehicle exploded in central Kabul city, official said.

The sticky bomb was attached to a police vehicle and exploded at 6:30pm at first Police District in Chindawol area of the Kabul city, Najib Danish, the spokesman for Interior Ministry said.

He also confirmed that three people including two police were “martyred” and 16 people nearly all of them civilians injured.

The police vehicle was also destroyed in the blast, which is not claimed by any insurgent group.

A woman and a child were also among the 18 injured persons, Public Health Ministry spokesman, Ismail Kausi told Afghanistan Times.
