Identified as Nematullah, the would be bomber was trained in the training camps in Miramshah and was assigned to attack the district administrative headquarters of Tagab in Kapisa.
The National Directorate of Security (NDS) said the suspect was identified and was arrested by the intelligence operatives before he manage to carry out the attack.
Nematullah has confessed that he was recruited by a Taliban commander Mawlavi Ataullah and was sent to Miramshah for training.
According to Nematullah, the trainers were adding medicines to their tea every morning in a bid to help wash their brains and prepare them for the attack.
He said the trainees were forgetting everything by having the medicine and were concentrating on terrorist activities which were taught to them in the camp.
This comes as the Afghan officials have long been criticizing Pakistan for allowing the Afghan anti-government armed militants to use their soil as sanctuaries for conducting attacks in Afghanistan.
The Taliban group leadership as well as the notorious Haqqani terrorist network are openly operating in Pakistan by establishing councils in Peshawar and Quetta cities.
President Ghani earlier asked Pakistan to take actions against the Taliban group leaderships based in Peshawar and Quetta cities of Pakistan. -KP
